About myself :

I was born in Daejeon, South Korea and moved to Canada when I was eleven.  I came back to my motherland in December 2014 and that is when I started this blog.  I always felt somehow a little ashamed of myself that as a Korean I do not have many memories (or knowledge) of my own country.  2015 is the year that I turn thirty and I plan to spend time traveling and exploring the wonderful land that I call home.

How? By walking the Korean peninsula!

You should make that walk to really connect. I circumnavigated the Korean peninsula by car in 1994. I spent six weeks doing it and many of my photographs of this trip are on my blog. It would be even better walking.

Thanks for the comment! That’s my ultimate goal to tour the Korean peninsula by foot. I shall use your blog as a reference when the time comes 🙂

You’re welcome YMOON. I will always feel very close to Korea and its people. One of my Korean captures brought me enough recognition to kick-start my career as a professional photographer so I will always be indebted. Here’s the photo: http://wp.me/sAnZn-seoulset
Search “Korea” and “Korean” on my blog and you will find many others. Best of luck!

Thank you so much for your kind words 🙂 Your photos are very impressive – hopefully I can capture something like that one day.
